Republican Rick Santorum says that “smart people” would never side with conservatives
While speaking Saturday at the Values Voters Summit, Rick Santorum said that “smart people” would never side with conservatives.
Santorum also claimed “the media” and “colleges and universities”
would not be “on our side” because “they want to tell you what to do.” Rather, according to Santorum, the conservative movement will be supported by “the church and the family.” Think Progress
If you listen to it you'll see he is not actually referring to "conservatives" but rather "social conservatives". As he then later refers to the libertarian and economic minded conservatives as well as the others you listed.
A conservative is a conservative is a conservative. Fiscal conservative, social conservative .. they are ALL freaking lunatics, liars and crooks. Conservatives encouraged and boosted the American banking system as they crippled the world economy. Millions of Americans lost their homes because of conservatives. In Canada, Harper is slowly killing democracy.
