GREAT NEWS!! - CRTC Rules AGAINST SunNewsNetwork Mandatory Inclusion In Basic Cable Packages

Sanity has prevailed at the Canadian Radio & Television Commission. They have ruled that Sun News Network does not require inclusion in basic cable packages. Anyone wishing to be inundated with SunNewsNetwork's extremist Right Wing program content can still subscribe to it as a paid specialty channel.

    Well Sun TV can always go after the youth market by having Levant wear costumes, a wig and false teeth and do his political skits and rants, working himself into a rage and jumping about on stage, delivering his speeches, a sort of takeoff on the Willy and Floyd show which debuted on CJOH TV in 1966 and then went syndicated throughout Canada. He could even work the Freedom Cruise footage, complete with gullible seniors hoodwinked from some Edmonton retirement home in the belief they were signing up for some lively Alaska cruise and not an oil industry PR campaign, into the show as part of the overall comedy routine. He could have the show co-hosted by fellow Freedom Cruise host John Robson, the one with the Moe Howard hairdo, as he wouldn't even require a wig....
