Saskatchewan Conservative MP's Appeal to Harper
After ducking and hiding for the last number of weeks, Saskatchewan's 12 Conservative Members of Parliament have written a letter to Stephen Harper outlining their concerns over the question of 'Equalization'. In correspondence leaked to the media (see link below) Tory MP Brian Fitzpatrick tells Harper that the 12 met recently and are extremely concerned about the issue. Fitzpatrick indicates that the promise was made and if broken by Harper, there will be serious political repercussions for them in the next federal campaign.
