The World Is Bit Safer Today

I want to thank all those Americans who went to the polls and voted against the Bush administration one way or the other.

As a result, the House of Representatives now stands as a vocal opposition to the Bushites who have been playing with the security of the planet for far too long.

The fact that Donald Rumsfeld has resigned further calms the volatile political climate of the Middle East and ultimately, the world.

It may not seem like it today, but November 7th just might go down in history as the day when a modicum of sanity started to come back into American foreign affairs.
