'Middle Class Can't Afford Justice' SUPREME COURT CHIEF JUSTICE SAYS
While the rich can afford the best lawyers that money can buy and the poor qualify for legal aid, it is the working middle class who are not able to sufficiently access justice says the Chief Justice of Canada's Supreme Court.
The Canadian legal system is also plugged up with petty matters such as marijuana infractions, public disturbances by the the mentally ill or drug addicted and minor property crimes. Matters that previously look took weeks to resolve now take many months.

I say to my good American friends, imagine living in a country where the government there worships George Bush and wants to imitate and replicate all of his policies, strategies and tactics .... being Canadian used to be a LOT MORE FUN then it is today!!

I often wonder if a lot of our troubles are caused not so much by politics on either side of the fence but by population pressures.
