U.S. Military Restricts Troop Access To Youtube And Other Sites
The sites covered by the ban are the video-sharing sites YouTube, Metacafe, IFilm, StupidVideos and FileCabi; social networking sites MySpace, BlackPlanet and Hi5; music sites Pandora, MTV, 1.fm and live365; and the photo-sharing site Photobucket.

Dawg, it had to be very embarrassing for Bush when the Military Times newspapers published polls that show that majority of US service people and their families oppose his surge and his war for oil and conquest. To prevent a recurrence, he wants to be sure that the troops get to see and hear nothing bit his propaganda.

Good job parroting the party line, Philtaj, but try again.
OPSEC would make sence if the censorship was restricted to photos and videos, but it is not. Even email to wives and girlfriends has to pass the censor. Furthermore, were this necessary for OPSEC, it would have been started four years ago. What has changed is that many of our fine troops are tired of being used as cannon fodder in Bush's war for oil and conquest and are making their views public.
