Blogging Propagandists Trying To Convince Us That The Surge Is Working In Iraq
The political dementos at smalldeadanimals are sure trying to convince their readership that the 'surge' by the US Military in Iraq is 'working'! Yeah ... right!!That is a pretty long stretch of the day to day reality in the Iraqi civil war.
One quick glance of reputable news stories shows how completely out to lunch the right wing crowd acutally is.
-Death toll expected to rise in Iraqi suicide bombings
-Iraq violence casts doubt on US 'surge'
-5 dead, a dozen missing in Iraq bridge bombing
So how do the propagandists explain away the 200 deaths yesterday in bombings in Baghdad?

That is the point exactly! The folly of the American invasion of Iraq is so blatantly obvious. This is what happens when we let marginally intelligent individuals become the President of the United States of America!

Forgive the diversion from the central issue but Huffing Post is reporting that neither Gen. Petraeus nor the US ambassador to Iraq is going to write the report due in September.
The WHITE HOUSE is going to do it.

Thanks for that david! I went over to Huff Post to read that. I can hardly wait to see what they write. They will probably portray Iraq as a model to be emulated in the Middle East now that they have democracy!!
