Newfoundland should accept the status quo....the constitution clearly states who has jurisdiction over the offshore. They are going to get rich either way.

In the media there are all sorts of cries about increased royalties killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.
CBC interviewed an investment specialist who said that royalties would still be lower than in many countries.
The gooses eggs are already there and with global demand increasing and supplies decreasing the goose owners should charge more. Isn't that simple capitalist economics after all.
