Lukiwski / Wall Scandal Upstages Harper's NATO Trip
For a Prime Minister who has tried to portray any dissent to his hawkish war policy as 'pro-taliban' or 'anti-Canadian', he deserves to be left out in the cold.
Harper doesn't believe that polls which show Canadians unhappy with Afghanistan are accurate. His misguided policy on Afghanistan will bite him in the ass politically - sooner, I hope, than later!
-Afghans come first, Harper's new slant
-Gauging the public mood on Afghanistan
-PM uses Romanian platform to offer nuanced take on Afghan mission
Poor Harper. Can't leave the country for a few days and hope that the show will run itself.
Along come some fellow conservatives on videotape and kablooey, the wheels fall off the wagon.
Add to that the ineffectiveness of Harper's NATO statement and the general disdain of the world press to him.
Can't win for losing. Poor sap.
