RCMP Commissioner Denies That Dziekanski Investigation Is A Whitewash
RCMP Commissioner William Elliott is denying that the investigation into the death of Robert Dziekanski is rigged despite emails obtained through a freedom of information request by CBC which show that the four officers were contacted personally by Elliott.
The B.C. Civil Liberties Association and lawyers who represents Dziekanski's mother, Zofia Cisowski, say they're worried about comments made by the the commissioner when he phoned the four officers to reassure them that they were on "safe ground."
