The article about the lawyer accidentally suing himself is actually quite interesting. The lawyer represented a client who had refinanced her mortgage with a company owned by the lawyer. She was suing the first holder of the mortgage over $60 in "fax feeds" charged on refinancing the mortgage. The started a class action suit involving other firms, lawyers, and clients, and went off to the races. In the course of the case, the refinancing company owned by the lawyer was added in as a third party defendant, so that effectively the lawyer is suing himself.
