I'm a huge fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders football club. 2010 is the 100th anniversary of the club and the Riders are in the Grey Cup match on Sunday ... as a result, this blog is going into GREEN MODE for the next couple of days .. and unless there is major national or international news, the only thing you will find here is going to be football related!

I am a huge Blue Bomber fan and my 2 favourite weekends are labour day and the banjo bowl weekends. I’ve lived in Edmonton for 30 years and now and love living here but I will never stop cheering for my Bombers. That said, I’ve been to some of the Grey Cup events this week in Edmonton and all I can say is thank goodness for Riders fans. Rider fans have made this a very special Grey Cup week and for today only I will be cheering the Riders on because the team with the best fans in the world deserve to win. Come next July the Riders will again become public enemy # 1 or I just couldn’t call myself a true and proud blue bomber fan.

Hey dog
