Sarah Palin: Korea ... North or South ... Who Cares?
"During an appearance on Glenn Beck's radio show Wednesday, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said North Korea is an American ally. She made the gaffe after Beck asked her opinion about North Korea's attack this week against a South Korean island.
"This speaks to a bigger picture here that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policy. But obviously, gotta stand with our North Korean allies, we're bound to by treaties," she said before Beck interrupted her.
"South Korean allies," he said.
"Yeah," she said, continuing on with her answer saying, "We're also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies."

Not surprised she didn't know the difference. Would have been more impressed if she got it right. The woman gets tripped up over "What do you read?" If she is ever elected it would only be as a puppet. Let's hope that day never comes!

"It is wonderful to be back in Oregon," Obama said. "Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it." September 24 2008
Palin may or may not know much about a small Asian country haft way around the world but Obama doesn’t seem to know how many states are in the union.
Or a more reasonable suggestion is they both simply misspoke and made a mistake. The only difference is the US media did not jump all over Obama’s mistake but are all over Palin for hers.

Perhaps a 'misspoke' .. but come on .. don't tell us that Palin has any level of intellect necessary to lead the most powerful nation on the planet! The Right is insane if they think she is qualified in ANY way to be POTUS .. get real!
