wbc and phelps are media whores of the highest order. And here you are, like dozens of other venues, faithfully reprinting their hatred. Old fred must be laughing his ass off at us. Everyone from individual bloggers to CNN need to STOP giving them free publicity!

Westboro Baptist--that same group of nuts who planned on crashing Elizabeth Edwards' funeral. Apparently, that's their main sporting activity; crashing funerals and protesting them

MM .. on the contrary. Hyper-vigilance of this group has vastly reduced the number of events they attend. No argument from me that Phelps knows how to manipulate media. Problem is, you can still find a lot of people who have no idea who/what you are talking about if you mention this group. WBC is a good example to engage many in political discussion who normally are not very political. WBC actually presents a unique situation to educate and engage discussion on the current lay of politics in NA.
