Manitobans still have a sour taste from the 1990s austerity measures left in their mouths. That and the fact that an NHL team returned under NDP Gov't that left this Province under Tory Gov't also helped.

"I hope they have the respect for the voter to pass proportional representation."1) They don't.2) PR is a horrendous idea, and is just as bad as FPTP.3) If they had any respect for the voter, they'd start with abolishing the monarchy and establish a republic.4) If we're going to talk about democracy, respect for the voters, etc. let's start with the monarchy first by abolishing it.
