Joe Kuchta , a great Saskatchewan Political blogger passed away at age 50 on November 16th. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and colleagues .... Thanks Joe!

I'm so sorry for your, and Saskatoon's, loss. From his blog, someone posted a touching obituary notice:
"Joe’s ability to bring to light meaningful information to regular folk (whom he considered himself to be one of) changed the level and quality of civic debate by elected and community leaders, pundits, and journalists alike."
He died a young man but certainly one who contributed greatly to his community. RIP Joe Kuchta.

This is staggeringly bad news. I didn't know Joe personally, but I knew his work. He was the best citizen journalist this province ever produced, and a personal hero. My condolences to his family.
