Sleaze oozes from every pore of the Conservative Party body. Trouble is, everyone was quite well aware of that before the 2011 election. After all, they invented smear politics and have used the same tactic in every election since the birth of the "New" Conservative Party. Despite that,Canadians still gave Harper his majority. Too bad those of us who pay attention and rejected the Tory smear campaign have to pay the price along with all the folks who supported the right-wing fundamentalist nutbar party.

Time to adopt proportional representation.

By the time the 2011 election came around, everyone in this country knew full well that the Conservatives deal in sleaze and smear, and yet enough Canadians voted to give Harpo his coveted majority.

Too bad those of us who pay attention and reject smear and sleaze have to pay the price for the stupidity of the 30-or so percent of the voting public who supported the Harper gang.

In Saskatchewan, farmers were so hell bent on getting rid of the gun registry that they threw away the Wheat Board. One can only hope that when the US shuts the border down to Canadian gran exports, for the first time in history Canadian taxpayers will refuse to bail out farmers...you voted for it...live with it!
