We are well into 2014. The Canadian political scene has remained relatively quiet in the post Christmas/New Year period. The current lull should not be considered an accurate reflection of the raucous year that ended 2013 for the embattled Harper Conservative administration.
Expect things to heat up at the national political level very soon. In a big way ...

The Oil sands are going to be exposed this year. Where to start with the lies. How about the name. Oil is a liquid, the substance mined in Alberta is a solid. Why do they have to lie about the name?
Neil Young has exposed the biggest lie. That the pollution from the oil sands is minuscule. And he got CAPP to confirm it for him. Could the oil sands be a giant ponzie scheme? If it costs more to make a product than you sell it for, where does that end?
