Conrad Black's Trial Will Be Like A Circus
Conrad Black and his co-accused face an imposing array of charges in the criminal fraud case that begins next week in Chicago. Black personally faces 14 charges, including mail and wire fraud, money laundering, obstruction of justice and racketeering. Over 300 journalists are expected in Chicago for the trial. It is shaping up to be as much a spectacle as it is an exercise in justice. Here is a sample from today's news headlines:

Likely a circus that won't perform for the US audience. He simply cannot compete with Anna Nicole unless he can arrange for a sex change operation and shave his head before the trial begins.
Showing up nekkid wearing woolly socks might work though.
