Canadians Reported 736 UFO Sightings Last Year
The 2006 Canadian UFO Survey recorded the third largest number of sightings in its 17-year history and shows there's still a great deal of interest in unexplained phenomena in the sky.British Columbia and Ontario had the highest number of recorded cases, but Saskatchewan posted an all-time record of 98 sightings. About half of the Saskatchewan sightings occured near the town of Maidstone.
It is interesting to note that a prominent federal politician, Paul Hellyer, Canada’s Defence Minister from 1963-67 under Prime Minister Lester Pearson and deputy prime minister under Pierre Trudeau, has publicly stated, "UFOs, are as real as the airplanes that fly over your head."
In early September 2005, Hellyer made headlines by publicly announcing that he could confirm that UFOs exist. On 25 September 2005, he was an invited speaker at an exopolitics conference in Toronto, where he told the audience that as well as his official briefings, he had actually seen a UFO one night with his late wife and some friends.

I live in South Western Ontario, and thru' the years have seen about eight UFO sightings, and they are AWESOME!!!
