COREN: Hitler Hated The Jews Because They Gave Us Jesus!?
I think that Toronto Sun columnist, Michael Coren may have completely lost it now, with proof evident in his article entitled, Answering Christianity Haters.
His new theory is that 'the fragile, beautiful and delicate religion of christianity is in peril as a result of those godless ones who hate christians'.
He states, (with a straight face and stern disposition) "Hitler was a Catholic. Not at all. He was born a Catholic but hated Christianity and some of the most devoted Nazi theorists wrote that their contempt for Judaism was based less on anti-Semitism than the fact the Jews gave the world Jesus."
Talk about historical revisionism!
Think for a second what Coren is suggesting here; 6 million Jews were slaughtered not because the Nazi's hated Jews, but because they hated Christians and the Jews were obviously responsible for Jesus and christianity!
NOTE TO THE EDITOR OF THE TORONTO SUN: - How much do you guys pay for nonsense like this? ... Oh, and maybe one of you editors may want to pay a bit more attention to what it is you are publishing by this character - because if I were Jewish, I think I may want to have a few words with you about what is being said in this article!!!

The Jewish roots of Christianity if anything made the Nazis suspicious of the church. (Though they would readily take the endorsement of sympathetic church officials.)

Pardon my absence. Been sick as a Dawg. As for Coren, he's just one more religious right ideologue perverting Jesus' teachings of love to monger hatred.
