Bush sanctions 'black ops' against Iran
The UK based Telegraph is reporting that intelligence sources have revealed President George W Bush has given the CIA approval to launch covert "black" operations to achieve regime change in Iran.
According to the Telegraph, Mr. Bush has signed an official document endorsing CIA plans for a propaganda and disinformation campaign intended to destabilise, and eventually topple, the theocratic rule of the mullahs.
Under the plan, pressure will be brought to bear on the Iranian economy by manipulating the country's currency and international financial transactions.

Rhetorically, why do they hate us so much? Answer: Because of crap like this that follow the lines of 'low intensity warfare.'
I call this cowardly action and it is. Negotiate like all mature govts should instead of this shadow ignorant behind the scenes manipulation. Iran-contra comes to mind here, and more of the same just doesn't work.

It appears that Crawford Caligula is doing his best to undermine this weeks negotiations.

'Crawford Caligula' - what a great handle, I like that!!!
It was the Roman military who finally got the original Caligula. Too bad the Joint Chiefs of Staff aren't so inspired to ask Bush to resign.
He would almost have to leave.

Interesting thing is that the White House gave this information to the media. They obviously wanted it out there which makes me wonder how much they are actually doing and how much they are more interested in making Iran believe we are.

I think you are jonto something with this NYM! If that is what the White House is doing then it is more psychological warfare then anything else.
Good insight.
