NDP-Liberal Teeter-Totter Will Decide Manitoba Election
"Next Tuesday’s election will be decided on the NDP-Liberal teeter-totter in the dozen or so geographically scattered ridings that now straddle Manitoba’s NDP-Conservative parallel universes." Frances Russell Winnipeg Free Press May 16 2007

I absolutely agree with the article you've posted tonight. In my riding, Fort Rouge, where the battle is between the NDP and the Liberals, I have heard of many Progressive Conservative voters who are swinging Liberal just to strategically beat out the NDP candidate.
Of course, McFadyen would rather see Fort Rouge go Bleu before it rather than remaining Orange or flipping Red. However, the same objective would be achieved for a McFadyen victory if Paul Hesse captures Fort Rouge for the Liberal party.
I'd like to see a PC government minority with an increased Liberal presense in the house. I think the PCs and Liberals would work well together which would do nothing but strengthen the Liberals and prepare them to move in on centre-left ridings that would be held by the (I'm assuming) hapless NDP.
