George Bush Coming To Canada Next Week
I realize that Canadians are expected to be polite hosts, civil and appropriate at all times. Somehow I don't feel that way when it comes to Bush.
He has proven himself to be contrary to those things that I hold as ideals. He is not honest. He is advancing his own 'big oil' agenda regardless of the outcome. He has no regard for human life (at least human life in Iraq and within his own armed forces). He is bankrupting his nation fighting wars that are illogical and dangerous to the peace of the planet. He is both incompetent and wickedly shrewd. He is a bad president. I don't like what he has done to date and I am nervous about what he yet may do before he vacates the Oval Office.
His soul mate, Stephen Harper can gush and fawn over him - but I don't feel any sense of hospitality towards him.

He needs a place to hide from all the freaked out traders and investors. The market collapse is the one thing that'll finally put the nail in his coffin.

Comare the situation in Montebello from the days of Trudeau and the G7 and today with the three leaders.
The people of Montebello had an easier time of it during Trudeau's days than now with Pillsbury Doughboy and his entourage.
Sad, isn't it? We had a better society not too long ago and the Liberals led the land then, too. Now it's all gone up the spout with the Cancervatives.
Can't wait to get rid of Doughboy come the next election. The new cabinet is not better than the old one. Same cabinet, same old rickety planks.
