Luciano Pavarotti and James Brown
I was a huge fan of James Brown and I also completly enjoyed the songs of Luciano Pavarotti. Eclectic? Perhaps. Both are gone now.
As a tribute, here they are together in concert LIVE - Luciano Pavarotti and James Brown
The freaky thing about this performance is that it makes sense and it works. This particular song is an especially likely point of collaboration in the emotional sense. It's obviously fairly unusual stylistically for Pavarotti, but I can see in the execution how it has an operatic sense of high drama well within Pavarotti's emotional range.
