Liberal Confusion Over Afghanistan Is So Typical Of Them
Let's face it - the Liberal Party of Canada is once again demonstrating that they are unable to agree internally on what they believe.
New Democrats do not like the war in Afghanistan because they understand history. They understand that mighty empires like the British and the Soviet Union were unable to tame the wild Aghanistani people and gave up trying. New Democrats believe that a way must be found to lay down arms and to work towards improving life for everyone in that nation.
Conservatives are full of bluster and military nationalism and totally ignore history. Hence they are comfortable sending our young Canadian men and women off to be killed in a pointless war that we cannot win on the field of battle.
The Liberal Party of Canada is split with one faction adhering to the New Democratic view and one faction imitating the Tory belief.
