We Have Groundhog Conflict Today
America's Punxsutawney Phil says that winter is far from over while Canada's Groundhog trio all agree that winter will end shortly! Ontario's Wiarton Willie, Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam and Alberta's Balzac Billy have all indicated that winter will end very soon. So we have international groundhog conflict today, on Groundhog Day.At times like this, we simply have to soldier on, unsure of what winter has in store for us. Personally I am sick of winter and I hope that the Canadian Canuckhog Collective is correct!

I agree ... this is like the kind of winters we used to have in the 1960's and 1970's. The last few years, our winters here on the Prairies have been a lot milder, but this one brings back glimpses of the past.

Well, let's check the track record.
1) Canadian Economy: doing pretty good. American Economy: in the shitter.
2) Canada: correctly anticipated that invasion of Iraq would be a bottomless disaster. America: plunged in with both feet.
3) Avril Lavigne: still going strong. Britney Spears: not so much.
I go with the Canadian groundhogs.
