First Nations University Of Canada POW WOW On This Weekend
The First Nations University of Canada kicked off the prairie pow wow season today with the start of a two day event at the Brant Centre in Regina. Anyone in or around the city of Regina should drop in.
Video clip is from the 2007 FNUC Pow Wow -
Sorry, not Regina, Saskatchewan. It's Canada thus FNUC. But, to be even more confusing, there are people writing the Carillon, angered by a story that referred to the University as FNUC, and apparently it's something like FNUniv or something ridiculous. I've seen both CBC and the Leader Post refer to it as FNUC since though.

Hey guys, The official acronym the First Nations University of Canada has taken for itself is FNUniv. The fact that some newspapers have continued to use the old acronym needs to be a misnomer.

The 2008 Pow wow great. There was a huge crowd last night; thousands filled the Brandt Centre. It was very well organized.
