New Government Should Shorten The Name Of The Province Of 'SASKATCHEWAN'
It is painfully obvious that although Saskatchewan is an easy province to draw a picture of, it is difficult to both say and spell.
In view of the fact that BOTH the Premier of Saskatchewan and the Prime Minister of Canada cannot spell the name correctly, the new Brad Wall government is hereby urged to shorten the name of this great prairie province to 'S-A-S-K-W-I-N'!!

The province's name comes from the Saskatchewan River, whose name comes from its Cree designation: kisiskāciwani-sīpiy, meaning "swift flowing river".

If you can't spell or pronounce the name, then you're not fit to lead the jurisdiction.

That's a good idea. The Rebranding effort by the NDP really let our province down, since we can barely fit on most billboards as it is.
