'No Science Please .... We're Conservatives'!

Federal scientists in 'full-blown' crisis
It should come as no surprise, I suppose, that those who reject science in favour of mythology, fairy tales, literal scriptural nonsense and climate change denial ALL seem to find a comfortable home in the Conservative Party. There is a word for those who chose to 'ignore' science ... that word is 'ignorant'!

Of course, since science clashes with religion, it gets the boot and dies of starvation and asphyxia.

You couldn't be more accurate. When science clashes with idiotic belief structures and primitive political ideologies ... stupidity quite often wins out. At least that is the case with Canada's current government.

You forgot the added bonus that science also clashes with business. A big no no in the conservative world. Get rid of those pesky little science people and world would look so much greener wouldn't it.
