Saskatchewan Party In The Pocket Of Corporate Donors
The New Democrat Party received $2.28 million in total donations. The NDP took in $585,502 from corporate donors while over 8,600 individual donors gave $1.28 million. The Saskatchewan Party is less than honest when it daily accuses the NDP of being puppets of organized labour for its 'reliance on union donations'. Only $165,999 came to the NDP from labour groups.
The first legislation that came forward from the new Saskatchewan Party government were two bills that strip organized labour of many basic rights that are traditional in collective bargaining.
'He who pays the piper calls the tune.' When it comes to the corporate 'unfettered free market' approach of the Saskatchewan Party government, they are clearly in business's hip pocket.
