Republican Sarah Palin Did Not Know That Africa Was A Continent - McCain Aides Now Telling All About The Idiot Who Ran For Vice President!

"Sarah Palin did not know Africa was a continent and could not name what countries made up North America, reports have claimed.

Just hours after Republican presidential candidate John McCain lost the election race to Barack Obama, a number of stories have emerged about tension in the camp.

Mr McCain's aides have claimed that his running mate Ms Palin was a liability and had major gaps in her political knowledge."

"She does believe the world is only 4,000 years old. She did shoot moose from a helicopter."
-5 Reasons Why Palin Was A Liability: Dallas News

"... soon after she was chosen McCain's running mate with very little vetting, his campaign insiders say they became queasy with the growing knowledge that Palin was desperately unqualified and ill-prepared to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. They attempted to bring her up to speed on the issues of the day, but she refused any efforts to prepare her for a string of disastrous interviews with CBS's Katie Couric that proved extremely damaging to the McCain campaign. The McCain insiders have told various news organizations that Palin nonetheless threw angry temper tantrums over their mishandling of her when the Couric interviews went badly."
-McCain aides tell tales of an ill-informed diva: Canadian Press

"Despite her self-styled image as a down-home working mother opposed to big government spending, the aides told Newsweek she behaved like anything but: she spent tens of thousands of dollars more than the US$150,000 originally reported on clothing, accessories and luggage for herself and her family.

One senior aide told the magazine that she was told to buy three suits for the Republican National Convention and hire a stylist, but instead, the vice-presidential nominee began amassing costly goods from stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. At one point during the campaign, Palin's youngest daughter, seven-year-old Piper, was photographed carrying a US$790 Louis Vuitton bag.

Two sources told Newsweek the goods were bought by a wealthy donor, who was flabbergasted when he saw the bills. Palin also allegedly instructed low-level staffers to buy her new clothes with their credit cards, something the McCain campaign only discovered last week when the aides tried to get reimbursed. Palin aides had a different version of events, with several telling the Los Angeles Times that she was outraged by the amount of money being spent on her clothing, adding she was naive about what the clothes cost."

"The tensions between the two camps reportedly continued even into election night, when Palin met up with McCain at the Biltmore hotel in Phoenix with a concession speech in hand that she wanted to deliver before he took to the podium to address his crestfallen supporters. Much to her chagrin, she was told by senior McCain aides that such a speech would be inappropriate since vice-presidential nominees do not traditionally speak on election night."

"Indeed, the only good thing about McCain is that he gave us a genuine conservative, Sarah Palin. He's like one of those insects that lives just long enough to reproduce so that the species can survive. That's why a lot of us are referring to Sarah as "The One" these days."

I think that John McCain made some really stupid decisions as a president. He made palin his running mate and now he lost. How could you elect him into office. If he is already making stupid decisions then how do you think he is going to be when he is elected into office it just doesn't make sense. I feel as though his prisoner of war speciel is just so that we can have pity on him and think that because he experience some war that he knows how to lead one. He was in a camp for a long time and he wasn't really at war with the rest of the soldiers. He doesn't know how to lead an army. It just doesn't make sense of why he would put in office palin. She was obviously a lure to get the women, but how stupid doesn't he think we are. She was in a group that a lot of people thought they were cult like. And if he tried to pull the crap that he has tried to pull on his own country on other countries then we would be in a whole lot of trouble. And why do they think that they can take away women rights like abortion. I don't think that any women she vote in someone who is taking away our rights as women. if you don't believe in it thats fine, but it is better then the alternative that people have done before. Also with Gays taking their right away too. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean that you should have a say in someone elses personal life. Everyone should have an equal opportunity, it is written in our constitution. John McCain as president doesn't make sense at all. I also don't think Palin was that stupid.

If Palin manages a comeback in '12, America is re-doomed.

Well at least she did think we are 59 states...

Yes, Palin is as bright as 3/4 minus gravel, but I am willing to give her a break on the countries that compose North America. Yes, any fool knows that the United States, Canada, and Mexico are included, but did you know the following are included?

Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba (Netherlands), Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda (UK), British Virgin Islands (UK), Cayman Islands (UK), Clipperton Island (France), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Greenland (Denmark), Grenada, Guadeloupe (France), Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique (France), Montserrat (UK), Navassa Island (USA), Netherlands Antilles (Netherlands), Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico (USA), Saint Barthélemy (France), Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin (France), Saint Pierre and Miquelon (France), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands (UK), U.S. Virgin Islands (USA)

So, it's not as easy as we all might have thought.

When conservatives start referring to someone like Palin as "The One", it is a sad testament to how vacuous political conservatism has become in the states.
