Happy Winter Solstice! Hundreds Gather At Stonehenge
Some of my favourite people, pagans and druids, gathered a few hours ago at Stonehenge in England to observe Winter Solstice sunrise.
This is the shortest day of the year and the longest night. After today, we start adding a minute of two of extra daylight each day as the northern hemisphere of the Earth starts tilting back toards the Sun.
A very Happy Solstice to one and all!
Happy Holidays!
