It really is hard to believe that anybody voted for that man even once--let alone twice!
His laissez-faire attitude has come back to bite him hard and big time!
Everyone is counting the days to his departure and those soldiers in Iraq were probably very glad to see the back of him.
He's done to the Republicans what Mulroney did to the Conservatives.
Mulroney pulled down the party and made it hard to come back together--indeed the party is still riven.
Remember the Bloq was made of Quebec Conservatives.
The Republicans will be on the sidelines for a good 10 years and the Christian right will have waning influence in daily politics.
It might even be time for a third party to arrive and be without any religious baggage. They could give the GOP a serious hard time.
