Senior American Generals Seeking To Undermine Obama's Withdrawl Plans For Iraq
The sonner that President Obama can clip their wings, or better yet, replace them, the better!
"Petraeus was visibly unhappy when he left the Oval Office, according to one of the sources. A White House staffer present at the meeting was quoted by the source as saying, "Petraeus made the mistake of thinking he was still dealing with George Bush instead of with Barack Obama."
Petraeus, Gates and Odierno had hoped to sell Obama on a plan that they formulated in the final months of the Bush administration that aimed at getting around a key provision of the U.S.-Iraqi withdrawal agreement signed envisioned re-categorising large numbers of combat troops as 'support troops'."

Petraeus, Gates and Odierno are dangerous people. Obama should replace Gates right away and give pink slip to the rest. We need peace. Enough of murder and mayhem.

Petraeus is Obama's MacArthur. He's a Repug all the way.
Despite all his fame, Petraeus has failed to win in Iraq or Afghanistan. Why? Because he's forced to violate every fundamental tenet in his own counterinsurgency manual, FM3-24, that he oversaw before returning to active command.
Petraeus is a ticket-puncher, careerist. A lot of people are convinced he has political aspirations post-retirement.
Obama should show him and the rest of these hacks the door to civilian street before they sabotage both Iraq and Afghanistan.
