Anyone who has ever stood in Times Square in New York City will recognize what a massive change it is to ban vehicle traffic from the famous crossroads. I think I like the idea.

I'm all for it. Every city needs to do this.
Only service vehicles and taxis should be permitted.
The World Ecocity Summit has a good special up on their sight about carfree cities.
We used to do this once a year on the entire lenth of Duluth Street in Montreal. It was so much fun!

I'm all for this too.
Traffic is always a mess there, may as well make it a place that pedestrians can enjoy!
Too bad they didn't do this when I was there, I might have actually enjoyed it!
