Brad Wall's Saskatchewan Party Government Running Up Huge Operating Deficit
So much for the myth of Saskatchewan's booming economy under the 'fiscally conservative' right wing Brad Wall administration.
"This means the Wall government is now running a budget deficit in the current year, hidden only by its fiscal sleight of hand in the First Quarter report, sucking nearly $400 Million from its so-called rainy day fund and hitting the Crown Corporation utilities for a total dividend of $480 million. No wonder the Wall government delayed the release of these results by nearly a month – the politicians took the time to try to spin their way out of this mess."
