Harper Suspended Canada's Democratically Elected Parliament For 'This'!!
The padlocks placed on Canada's parliament by Conservative Leader, Stephen Harper, were removed today. Allegedly, Canada's democratically elected Parliament was Suspended on December 30th in order for the Conservatives to roll up their sleeves and bring forward the best plan and Speech from the Throne that this nation has EVER seen!
What a load of crap! Even the advance 'spin' by Tory apologists (before the Speech was even delivered) is pretty thin gruel as a reason for suspending Parliament.
Canadians have not been fooled. Not by the 'reason' for the parliamentary suspension and certainly not by the symbolic rhetoric that Canadians were subjected to today.
