Reminds me of a mini Niagara Falls. The Horshoe part. That's incredible.

I've lived on the prairies my entire life and am much more familiar with dry, drought-like conditions. This is a first. A third of the province's farms have not been seeded because the whole place is a soggy sink hole. At the moment there are a lot of Sask & Alta towns under feet of water.

In the video, at the part that shows the water flowing out from the small dam, notice that the tops of the power poles are barely showing. The water is quite deep.

The weather situation is very sad--particularly for farmers who have yet to plant any significant crops for this year.

I understand the government has not been generous to the farmers in their plight. Given that the west is the bedrock for the Conservatives in the House of Commons, I wonder how greatly disaffected the west will be, come the next election.

Here in Toronto, the G-8 & G-20 inconveniences are staggering and the costs and overruns are unbelieveable.

Slowly but surely, Harper's ship is sinking taking down almost everyone with it. Shades of Mulroney in '93.
