Why Right Wing Mouthpiece - Professor Tom Flanagan - MUST Be Charged For Advocating Political Murder
"According to the law books, advocating a "hit" or calling for the murder or "assassination" of anyone in Canada, and apparently abroad as well, is a very serious offence indeed; and thus nothing to laugh at, deride, trivialise, or casually shrug off. It is presumably a punishable misdeed according to the Canadian criminal code."
Digital Journal
I saw that Flanagan comment recently on the news. While I agree that a call for assaaination is unacceptable, I can't help but wonder if there are many people left who take anything the good professor says seriously.

...I can't help but wonder if there are many people left who take anything the good professor says seriously.
If that's true, then why does he keep turning up on the CBC and the Globe's op-ed page?

This morning .. as you and I are posting here, Professor Tom Flanagan is teaching keen young minds at the University of Calgary. In view of his vile political beliefs ... one wonders if he should be teaching. Clearly the University of Calgary STILL take him seriously.

His CBC presence can probably be explained by the Corporation's efforts to placate its government masters; for me, the Globe has lost its currency and much of its credibility, especially since its revamping to elevate the likes of libertarian columnists such as Neil Reynolds.

I say good on Prof. Flanagan for voicing what a silent majority of quiet professionals are thinking.

And now his response to a critic - is ANOTHER threat!
Flanagan responds to Toronto woman who sent him an email criticizing his Assange threat with one sentence reply: “Better be careful, we know where you live.”
Just another 'joke' Flanagan? Or revealing the underlying eliminationism from the Canadian Right that is the default response to any oppositio.
