Layton Wants Changes To Clear Air Act
In an interview with CTV.ca's Bill Doskoch, New Democratic Party Leader, Jack Layton lays out some conditions for changes to the Tories' Clean Air Act that must be done in order to get support in Parliament. Layton wants action from the Tories on the environment in general and he wants it before the next federal budget. "We see this as a critical issue, and we think it is vital that the government take action," he told CTV.ca.

Talking about an odd couple, it doesn't come any odder than that formed by Layton and Harper. I can't picture how these two fellows will arrive to a mutually acceptable conclusion as how to addres the polution issues. One of them must have complete 180 degree turn to this happen. Is it possible? How would they sell it to their supporters? I admit, I don't get it.
