Court Hears How Tories Broke Own Rules To Fix Nomination For Rob Anders
CALGARY (CP) - The federal Conservative party did everything it could - including breaking many of its own rules - to protect Calgary MP Rob Anders from a contested nomination, a lawyer argued at a judicial review Thursday. "Every single decision that I can think of that the party made favoured the incumbent - without exception," Hawkes told Alberta Court of Queen's Bench Justice Jed Hawco.
That included not allowing a full 30 days for the nomination process, starting on the Friday before a long weekend, not letting all party members know the nomination was ongoing and not trying to look for other candidates.

The bottom line is very simple. Rob Anders is one of Stephen Harper's former Reform Party Caucus colleagues, and Harper is prepared to do whatever he has to to ensure that his 'buddy' wins the nomination.
So much for Conservative Party ethics!!

I think it is important to point out Anders particular political record to people.
-he was a paid 'heckler' before he was elected as a Member of Parliament.
-he embarrassed Canada when, as an MP, he went on and on about Nelson Mandela being a 'communist'.
-he is a total fundie
-still fighting the cold war
-doing everything possible to tick of China, (because they are 'communist') endangering billions of dollars of trade.
-Even Conservatives are embarrassed of him
-his STRONG tie to Prime Minister Harper's apron strings
We'll see how much trouble Harper is prepared to get into to protect his 'bud'.
