"Ahmadinejad Is Not An Aberration In Iran" - JASON KENNEY
I blogged on Conservative Cabinet Minister, Jason Kenney's war mongering last week. Here is an article that further elaborates on what Kenney and the Canadian Conservative Government believe as we get ready for George Bush to attack Iran. (And trust me folks, it's gonna happen!!)
Rabbi Reuben Poupko further elaborated on Kenney's theme by adding, "Ahmadinejad is not an aberration in Iran ... after he’s gone, the threat remains. Let us not think the threat evaporates with his removal from office. I promise you one thing and every Jew should be confident of this. Ahmadinejad will be gone, this regime in Iran will be gone, the Jewish state will still be there 60 years from now, 100 years from now and 200 years from now …"

Buckdog, I'm appalled too by what Kenney had to say and by his transparent willingness to serve the Cheney-Bush war machine, but I think you'll see if you check the Chronicle article closely that the words you've quoted were not spoken by Kenney but rather by the rabbi of that congregation.
A small matter: what Kenney did say was bad enough.
