As gas prices in Canada continue to soar, it seems like a good time to adopt an updated graphical image that allows consumers to know that fixed price gas is 'for sale' at a particular location. With the global economy we find ourselves in, it makes sense that the updated graphic should have a 'universal' quality to it.
So with a big 'tip of the hat' to my pal Ethel at Women On The Verge, we give you a new universal sign - 'Fixed Price Gas For Sale'!

Oil and gas companies really don't mind peak oil missive. Sell less for more.
I'm just in a bad mood because the gas manufacturers continue to insist there is no coordinated agreement on price fixing - which there is.
The thing that really gets me, is that people can't figure out that when an oil tycoon becomes President of the USA and immediately starts wars in the Middle East, it is calculated to create instability which results in higher prices.
Dawg, in case you believe that there is no coordinated agreement on price fixing, please send me your credit card numbers, bank account numbers, PIN numbers, left arm, and first born. I'll see you get a share in an African diamond mine.
Ah leftdog, I know that there is lots of price fixing going on. Eco 101, if you can't corner and take over your competitor, the next best thing, is to work together, and agree on the price.
I always find it funny, when you hear corporations rant about unions and all that cooperation/colaboration stuff, when they do lots of collaboration themselves - behind the scenes backroom deals - at least unions, do it out front.
