Canadian Armed Forces School Outreach - Tank In The School Yard!?
I was surprised by a story I read today that reported on a school outreach program in Newfoundland by the Canadian Armed Forces where a tank was brought into a school yard for kids to touch and romp around.I am sure that many of the kids found this quite exciting but a number of local parents are not impressed with this type of 'outreach'.
I hope this is an isolated episode and is NOT something that we will be seeing more of in schools across Canada.
