"As the Conrad Black trial has headed into its last days - the jury is expected to begin deliberations today - friends and supporters of Lord Black have gathered round. I love how there was this certain set of right wing journalists who never moved off of their a prior assumption that Conrad was innocent. I include in this Levant as well as Mark Steyn and possibly Michael Coren to name a few.

Agreed. Add to that the fact that many of them operate under the premise that 'greed is good', they simply can't understand why the good Lord is in court.
If he is found guilty (and I predict that he will be found guilty of some charges and he will be found not guilty of other charges) they will try to play his conviction off as a 'Left/Right' thing.
