Canadians DO NOT AGREE With Harper's 'War On Drugs" Approach
"Vancouver's safe-injection site has been given an extension until next June, but Prime Minister Stephen Harper has said he opposes these kind of programs."
Stephen Harper is a typical right wing dinosaur who 'can't see' why drug addicts don't just 'say no' and quit their 'evil habit'. That is because individuals with a right wing world view tend to reduce very complex issues into simplistic black and white comprehensions.
Meanwhile, the Conservatives have also decided that those Canadians who use small amounts of cannabis are evil criminals as well and must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
At some point, Stephen Harper and his Conservative dinosaurs may listen to what Canadians are saying ... but don't hold your breath. The are hooked on their simplistic ideology.

Addiction is beyond his sphere of experience and so is beyond his sphere of comprehension. Fundies tend to have that mind-set.
Mike Harris probably asked the cabinet how their health was and, from their responses, decided that Ontarians needed fewer hospitals and reduced health care benefits.
Health care got a lower priority than hunting and fishing!

Agreed. Right wingers know that there is a simple answer for EVERY complicated problem - what they don't know is that the answer is usually WRONG!

Unlike left wingers like layton who spew out nonsense just to get the publics attention.

Now there is an intellectual comment - hey what happened to Bernard Lord and your fellow right wingers? New Brunswickers had enough sense to flush the toilet and get rid of the whole crooked crew!!! LOL

Instead of name calling, it would be much more constructive to make an argument and then defend it. Such as: Why is cannabis illegal, yet alcohol and tobacco are not? Tobacco and Alcohol are far deadlier then marijuana, yet they are legal. Another argument would be that it’s a person's right to put something in their body if they want it there even if it is unhealthy (such as fatty foods).
Arguments such as “Stephen Harper and his party are evil conservatives are stupid dinosaurs” makes you look obtuse.
