Jim Prentice was asked a lot of good questions yesterday by Susan Bonner. He had to work hard for the answers and he wasn't very convincing. Of course Flaherty was not available and Prentice and to substitute.Sort of reminded me of Murrow and McCarthy in the 1950s.Are the likes of Susan Bonner and Don Newman the bane of Conservatives and their ilk? Do these people underlie the reason for the "fixing" of the CBC?Naturally, the Conservatives won't tell the truth about the "why" of the fixing.Isn't there something resonating about shooting the messenger in this whole matter?

Absolutely! Just as with the Wheat Board - they always skirt around the 'why' of their actions - pure ideological reasoning on their part.
