"Will this take down the Harper Government? It is hard to say. I am of the view that this is a great time for an election. I don't think Conservatives have been this demoralized since they won the last election. However, while watching Stéphane Dion on Question Period yesterday, I got the strong sense that he is not going to take us to the polls now. He seems to think that as bad as things are, they can only get worse for Mr. Harper. That being the case, Stephen Harper will likely have another summer to try to create new policies and cement his hold on Ottawa. Meanwhile, Mr. Dion will have the summer to release eye-catching policies and try to give Canadians a better sense of who he is."

Political junkies will remember when the Liberals unveiled 'Mr. Dithers Version 1.0'.

But for some reason, the public simply did NOT embrace version 1.0. Liberals were stunned that their best effort was rejected by Canadian voters. So off they went back to their political laboratory. They rolled up their sleeves, worked long and hard and gave to us ... Mr. Dithers Version 2.0!
