Conservative MP's Use Loop Hole In The Rules To Hire Each Others Kids!
"OTTAWA - The children and siblings of some Conservative MPs have found work on Parliament Hill in the offices of other Tory parliamentarians, a review of government records shows. Under House of Commons rules, MPs are not allowed to employ their spouses or children. But there is nothing to stop MPs from hiring family members of their caucus colleagues and paying them from their parliamentary budgets."
Regina Leader-Post
Does the number of Conservatives family members go beyond what has been seen in the past? Are there any unqualified relatives holding positions? Were any of them not previously working for the party, constituency office, or government previously? Yadda, yadda...
I think those questions, and others, need to be answered before this is taken too far. Right now the only commentary I think is completely valid is about how the Conservatives said they wouldn't do things like this, but then again, we already know they're hypocrites when it comes to transparency, accountability and the like.

I can remember reading that Stockwell Day sent his son round to the MPs' offices to collect extra money from them. This was to fundraise the $150 000 for hiring Ezra Levant.
Logan Day apparently worked for the Reform Party on the Hill and Day needed a new communications director. He sent his son around to the Reform members' offices to scare up the other $75 000.
So, it's a practice that's been going on for some time.
By the way, Levant lasted what--less than two months?
